BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Your contract is with Snowdonia Getaway (“We”, “us” and “our” in these Booking Conditions) for the property known as ‘Bryn Hyfryd’ (“the Property”). References to “you” or “your” are references to the person making the booking and all members of the holiday party.
These Booking Conditions form the basis of your contract with us so please read them carefully. Nothing in these Booking Conditions affects your normal statutory rights.

RENTAL PERIODS
Bryn Hyfryd is available for rent for full weeks only (Saturday to Saturday) during high season. Short breaks are possible outside of high season. Please see our availability calendar or contact us to check.
1. MAKING THE BOOKING AND DEPOSIT
You are required to make the requested deposit payment within seven days of making a "provisional booking" Please note that the Initial Deposit is only refundable if you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our written confirmation of your booking.
Your booking is made as a consumer for the purpose of a holiday and you acknowledge that no liability can be accepted for any business losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you.
Once the Required Deposit have been received and accepted by us, we will issue you with an email confirmation. This confirmation is the commencement of the contract between us and is subject to the following terms. We reserve the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of our email confirmation. If we do this we will promptly refund any money you have paid to us.
You should carefully check the details of our email confirmation and inform us immediately of any errors or omissions.
2. PAYING FOR THE BOOKING
You are required to send to us your payment for the balance of the Rental and the Security Deposit at least eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date as set out in our email confirmation.
If the booking is with 8 weeks of arrival, full payment is required on booking. If you fail to make a payment due to us in full and on time we may treat your booking as cancelled by you.
We will hold the Security Deposit to be applied against any damage / abuse to the property, grounds, furnishings, fittings, bedding and towels during the contract period. We will return the Security Deposit to you within 14 days of the departure date, less any deductions in accordance with the conditions listed above.

4. IF YOU CANCEL OR AMEND THE BOOKING
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must inform us by email as soon as possible. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive email confirmation from you.
If you cancel your booking within seven days of receiving our email confirmation, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.
If you cancel your booking more than eight weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we will retain the Initial Deposit and refund the balance of any money you have paid to us.
If you cancel within eight weeks of your Arrival Date we reserve the right to retain a portion of the booking amount on a sliding scale as follows:
2 weeks or less to Arrival date - 100% retained
2 - 4 weeks to Arrival date - 80% retained
4 - 6 weeks to Arrival date - 65% retained
6 - 8 weeks to Arrival date - 50% retained
In these circumstances we will refund the retained amount (less any additional costs incurred) to you if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property.
5. IF WE CANCEL OR AMEND THE BOOKING
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or, very occasionally cancel bookings. If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.
6. ARRIVAL
You can arrive at your accommodation after 16:00 hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 10:00 hours on the Departure Date. There may be some flexibility on the arrival time and if you wish, please contact us to check if you can enter the property earlier on your arrival date.
7. YOUR OBLIGATIONS
You agree to comply with the Regulations set out in these Terms and Conditions and any other regulations reasonably made from time to time and ensure that they are observed by all members of your party.
You agree to keep and leave the Property and the furnishings in good condition. Kitchen equipment, crockery, glasses must be cleaned and put away prior to departure. Used bedding and towels should be placed in the bath to help our housekeeper. Any damage to the above shall be subject to partial / full Security Deposit retention as outlined in item 3.
The property is strictly No SMOKING. You agree that you or any party member WILL NOT smoke inside the property, on the decking or within 3 metres and building.
You agree not to cause any damage to the walls, doors or windows of the Property.
You agree to take reasonable steps to avoid any nuisance behavior towards our neighbours including keeping noise levels outside to a minimum in the evening.
You agree to take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property. We cannot be held responsible for damage to or loss of such property. The Proprietor shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to valuables, personal property of any kind, motor vehicles, motor cycles, bicycles, boats, etc., or personal injury or death, direct or indirect, irrespective of how it was sustained, occasioned or caused to anyone or any age (including persons under 18 years) who is a resident of or invitee of Snowdonia Getaway, during the duration of your contract with us.
You agree to ensure that each member of your party is covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including evacuation and repatriation coverage).
You cannot allow more people to stay in the Property than expressly authorized, nor can you significantly change the makeup of the party during your stay in the Property, nor can you take your pet into the Property unless it has been arranged in advance and it is shown on your confirmation. If you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave it.
You agree to allow us or any representative of ours access at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of essential repairs.
If any of the above is contravened, we reserve the right to require you leave the property and will treat any of these circumstances as a cancellation of the booking by you.
8. CAR PARKING
We provide private car parking at the property for two / three cars. The use of this parking is entirely at the owners risk.
9. EV CHARGING
For our guests convenience we provide an EV CHARGER (7Kw) which uses a PRE PAY SYSTEM through the CHARGE ASSIST app (IOS and Android).
Guests are strictly forbidden from charging their vehicle using a 3 pin socket in the property. This invalidates our insurance and can be a fire risk. If it becomes known that guests have contravened this rule we reserve the right to ask guests to leave immediately and to reimburse us for electricity used.
10. PETS
We gladly accept one pet. However ALL pets must not be allowed in the bedrooms or on soft furnishings so as to ensure no damage or undue wear occurs. Furthermore, ALL PETS MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES whilst on the property grounds. Our gardens are extensive but are NOT FULLY SECURE.
We are not responsible for any incident which occurs whilst contravening these terms. We must insist that owners clear the grounds of all pet excrement.
11. COMPLAINTS
Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that remedial action is taken as soon as possible.
It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. Discussion of any criticisms with us whilst you are in residence will usually enable shortcomings to be rectified straightaway. In particular, complaints of a transient nature (for example, regarding preparation or heating of the Property) cannot possibly be investigated unless registered whilst you are in residence.
If any complaint cannot be resolved during your holiday, you must write to us with full details within 28 days of the end of it.
12. LAW
The contract between you and us is governed by the law of England and Wales and we both agree that any dispute, matter or other issue which arises between us will be dealt with by the Courts of England and Wales
